The popular mini cherry vine tomatoes of Bavarian vegetable farm Steiner GmbH und Co. KG. have already been on offer for about 2-3 weeks, in a brand new packaging. Under the brand Best Moments, these fine greenhouse products of the Rivolo variety are offered in practical 200-gram cardboard trays at regional shops.

'Winter tomatoes'
These little snack tomatoes will probably still be harvested until mid-December, says a spokeswoman for the vegetable farm. Then the tomato will leave the vegetable shelves for a short period. "In the meantime, however, we will be offering our mid-sized winter tomato Brioso. starting in March, we will be back with our full range of tomatoes.''
The BEST MOMENTS mini cherry vine tomatoes are currently seen more and more on the shelves of penny shops. Depending on their availability, the goods are sourced from domestic or Dutch growers.
Year-round production
In the Kirchweidach region of Upper Bavaria, the Steiner family produces tomatoes, peppers and strawberries on more than 20 hectares under glass. Through geothermics and photovoltaics and without the use of fossil fuels high-quality greenhouse products are grown in the Chiemgau throughout the year. The products are marketed in Bavarian Rewe and Penny stores.
