China: Customs at Ningbo airport find mealybug in durian

An unknown importer recently imported a shipment of fresh durians from Thailand into China through Ningbo airport. The shipment weighed 498.3 kg and was the first shipment of its kind to come through Ningbo airport. An employee of the customs office carried out quarantine inspection and discovered harmful mealybugs (dysmicoccus brevipes). This was the first time such mealybugs had been discovered at Ningbo airport.
