In week 42, the harvest of organic sprouts was started for Van Oers United. In 2017, they gained their first experience with organic sprouts from their own production and in cooperation with Van Oers United growers. In 2018, production increased considerably, and despite the dry weather and delays in production, the harvest is currently in full swing for the fresh market and industry.
Using new harvesting, sorting and packing techniques combined with an ultra-short supply chain, a wonderful, sustainable, organic product is now available on the market. By efficiently cooperating in the supply chain in the field of production, harvest, and packing, Van Oers United is able to supply custom work. This with respect for the product, producer and nature, with the aim of bringing an ultra-fresh organic product to consumers.
Apart from sprouts, Van Oers United also supplies other organic products, such as French beans, Chinese cabbage, pumpkin, chicory and more.
