Mann Packing Company will highlight the newest additions to its award-winning Nourish Bowls® line – Nourish Bowls® Breakfast – at PMA Fresh Summit October 19-20 in Orlando, FL.
Nourish Bowls® Breakfast comes in two flavors: Denver Scramble and Fiesta Scramble. To prepare them, you add 1-2 eggs and microwave for 4 minutes. The bowls are 330 calories or less and contain up to 25 grams of protein.
The Denver Scramble features kale, sweet potato, cauliflower and broccoli with a Bell Pepper Sauce that has diced ham & onion and comes with a cheddar cheese topping. The Fiesta Scramble has kale, cauliflower, kohlrabi and butternut squash with a Pico de Gallo Salsa that has chicken chorizo and comes with a Mexican Cheese Blend topping.
Mann’s said it is capitalizing on the growth of the breakfast meal occasion. The company cited research which said:
- 83% of Foodservice operators have increased breakfast hours in the past 3 years*
- 93% of Americans think that breakfast is the most important meal but only 44% eat it daily.*
- 51% of consumers have eaten breakfast for lunch over the past 2 weeks*
The two new breakfast bowls join Monterey Risotto, Sesame Sriracha, Southwest Chipotle, Smokehouse Brussels, Spicy Thai, Basil Pesto, Tomato Bolognese and Cauli Rice Curry.
Mann’s Nourish Bowls® Breakfast will be on display in the “On the Go” new products showcase at PMA Fresh Summit. They will also be available to sample at the Del Monte Fresh / Mann Packing Booth #2901 on both days of the expo.
