Summit held in Maryland to reduce food waste

The summit, which will be held in Linthicum heights on Wednesday December 7 is planned to bring representatives from state, local and federal governments, local schools, environmental groups as well as nonprofits along with members of the food industry.

The topics on the table is how to reduce food waste in Maryland which is becoming a big topic around the world. They are planned to discuss food recycling, donations of unused food and improvements to the infrastructure which could help lessen the problem.
