Germany: Biofruit GmbH takes stock and is happy with the outcome

About four weeks after the ANUGA in Cologne, Biofruit GmbH is very positive about the outcome. The Düren-based company was one of the exhibitors at the world's largest food and beverage fair. The focus of the fair was on organic food, healthy and sustainable nutrition and new forms of consumer awareness.

"Our presentations suited the current trends perfectly," said Biofruit managing director Dirk Salentin. Biofruit specializes in the marketing of premium organic fruits and premium organic vegetables and also supports food retailers in the optimal presentation and staging of high-quality goods.

"Biofruit GmbH is the leading company for the marketing of premium organic products: the best foodstuffs, originating from exclusive organic production. But that's not all. "We also have an obligation to educate people about healthy eating and to inform them about the benefits of organic products," says Salentin. He has worked in the food retail industry for many years and therefore knows all the issues and the high demands of consumers. That's why Biofruit, together with bestselling author and nutrition expert Susanne Wendel, this year also published a new edition of the book "Eating Right in the Job". The book has been expanded in cooperation with the Biofruit experts and is now exclusively for sale for the special price of 13,- euros -in a Biofruit edition- through the company’s web shop at www.biofruit.de.

In addition, Biofruit wants to start a campaign for a healthy diet in the work place. With about 40 easy-to-implement nutrition tips to counter a stressful everyday working life, the company wants to show just how easy a balanced diet can be. The campaign will take place via Facebook, specifically through the Biofruit fan page. "We want to reach people of all ages who, for work-related reasons, often do not have the time to invest in preparing a meal. Every week there will be a practical tip," said Dirk Salentin. The campaign starts on December 4th.
