China: High-priced apples sold on Christmas Eve

A supermarket in Hangzhou city had three very special apples on display Christmas Eve. Each apple was 3-4 times bigger than a regular apple and was covered with animal patterns of dragons, tigers and eagles.

Consumers were impressed first by the vivid animal patterns on these apples, but then were astonished by their pricing: 39.888 Yuan for 3 apples. It is known that these 3 apples are from Japan and they are art crafted apples.
