Ambrosia apple promotions come to a successful close

Ambrosia apples were launched in Spain at Fruit Attraction 2016. After their presentation at this event came the start of their first communication campaign in the country; the goal was for the final consumer to taste them and convince them of the quality of this fruit.

To that end, this naturally divine apple has been promoted in wholesale markets and retailers in Barcelona and Madrid.

Ambrosia is an apple with a sweet and slightly sour taste which stands out for its crunchy bite. All those who have visited the markets during the days of the promotion have had a chance to check this, thanks to the tastings that were organised.

What has attracted the most attention, both from fruit traders and end consumers, has been its colour; that combination of red and yellow which makes it unique and recognizable at first sight.

Both in Mercamadrid and in Mercabarna (wholesale markets), fruit traders have approached the promotional stands to find out more about the qualities of this apple and buy it for their own stores. They have also been able to collect material to decorate them and participate in the various promotions that have been organised especially for them at the Ambrosia website

Likewise, at retail markets like the Chamartín Market and La Paz Market of Madrid and the Mercat de la Concepció and Mercat del Ninot of Barcelona, the end consumer has been delighted with its flavour and after trying this new apple, they have not hesitated to buy it.

Therefore, we can say that the promotional tour has been carried out in a satisfactory way, getting the Ambrosia to hit the shelves of fruit stores and generating direct sales through tastings.

The Ambrosia will be available in fruit stores until the month of April.
