Italy: New Almaverde Bio island in Perugia

A tenth Almaverde Bio island was inaugurated in Umbria. It covers around 20 sq. m. in a Coop supermarket located in the Collestrada shopping mall and there are around 100 products - loose and packaged - on display. A partnership between Almaverde Bio and the retailer was also established.

Just like it happened in Bologna, in fact, there are not only Almaverde branded products on display, but also products with the distributor brand resulting from the partnership. We are talking about Viviverde Bio products, which is Coop's private label, specialising in organic products.

The other islands are: 4 assisted sales at Centro Nova (Castenaso - BO), Befane (Rimini), La Rotonda (MO) and Villasanta (MB) and 5 self-service in Punta di Ferro (Forlì - FC), La Filanda (Faenza - RA), Conad in Porcia and in San Biagio di Callalta and at Levante (BO). This island too is completely managed by Società Canova, of the Gruppo Apofruit, sole licencee of the Almaverde Bio brand for fresh produce.

A new Almaverde Bio island will be inaugurated in the next few weeks in Rome.
