One step closer to Chilean nectarine exports to China

Recently, Chile's agriculture industry representatives sent a business delegation to China. The assistant director of the Department of Agriculture stationed in China, Carlos Parra, and the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association official, Migual Canala-Echeverría had meetings with the Chinese AQSIA representatives and successfully promoted access of Chilean nectarines and walnuts to the Chinese market.

Carlos Parra said: "In January next year, we will welcome three Chinese quarantine offices taking arrangements for nectarine exports a step further. We hope to sign the agreements as soon as possible, after the quality inspection in China is finished. So we can export our nectarines to China as soon as possible."
