Greenhouse vegetables enter market, causing prices to fluctuate

Due to the climate, less and less vegetables are being cultivated on land. Great amounts of greenhouse vegetables enter the market, leading vegetable prices to fluctuate.

Cultivating costs of greenhouse vegetables are relatively higher, compared with cultivation costs on land. In the future, the amount of vegetables on the market will continue to increase and prices can then decline.

Furthermore, according to Hongqi agricultural wholesale market statistics, the market daily trading volume is approximately 1.95 million kilos. The average wholesale price of tens of vegetables is 3.3 Yuan per 500 grams, an average increase of 5%.
