The website Stol.it reports that there has been another attack on a “Pink Lady” facility of Eofruit chairman Karl Ungerer in Kalterer Moss (Tramin, Italy). A large amount of apple trees were cut down.
This in not the first incident, recently there was a similar incident in Margreid. In the night 550 "Pink Lady" apple trees were cut down, huge damage for the affected farmers.
This time again, more than 100 trees of the apple variety "Cripps Pink Rosy Glow" were damaged. Furthermore apples were torn from the trees and gasoline was poured over large recently filled crates with apples. A serial perpetrator could be responsible for these acts of vandalism.
