Bigger, better showcase for UK hort. at Fruit Logistica 2016

A bigger and better showcase for Great Britain’s horticulture and potato industries will be unveiled at Fruit Logistica 2016 by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).

Returning to the show for a fifth year with an even larger exhibition space for 2016, AHDB Exports will provide a high profile platform from which exhibitors from across the horticulture and potato industries can showcase their product to over 67,000 trade visitors.

Fruit Logistica, 3 – 5 February, offers exhibitors strong networking opportunities and international export and business leads. To support horticulture and seed potato producers, AHDB is offering 10 co-exhibitor opportunities enabling growers to exhibit at this world-leading event at significantly reduced costs.

A highlight of Fruit Logistica is the annual UK Reception hosted by AHDB and supported by UK Trade and Investments (UKTI), which encourages industry visitors and exhibitors to get together to network. This year’s Reception will take place on the stand on Thursday 4 February from 4.00 – 6.00pm with representatives from UKTI, Chairman of AHDB Peter Kendall, AHDB export staff, and trade and industry bodies all in attendance.

As well as an increased exhibition space, this year’s stand will offer co-exhibitors their own branded pods, which include plasma touch screen computers, comfortable seating for meetings and two hospitality areas with complimentary refreshments throughout the show.

An early bird rate is being offered to exhibitors booking before 5pm on 30 October. Eligible exhibitors for the AHDB stand include Horticulture and potato levy paying businesses, related science and representative organisations. Fresh produce marketing companies or co-operatives are also eligible assuming they can show support from a levy paying business.

Early bird rate for co-exhibitors must be booked by 5pm Friday 30 October – cost is £2,300 + VAT (after this the rate will be £2,800 + VAT until the final deadline of Monday 16 November 2015). All stands must be booked by Monday 16 November 2015. Stands will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on receipt of completed booking forms only.
