The German potato variety list for 2014 was published last week, reports the German website Proplanta.de. This list includes a description of all potato varieties allowed by the German 'Bundessortenamt' (as of the 15th of October 2014). In clear tables the resistance, quality and harvest characteristics of each variety are described extensively. There is also information on the cooking characteristics of the varieties and the suitability for the production of breeding products.
