Hayward Kiwi harvesting has started in Italy's different growing areas. The checks carried out during week 43 have confirmed the following values.

Northern Italy
The parameters measured in the different growing areas in the north of Italy during week 44 (from 27th October) gave values of sugar content around 6.3 brix degrees (0.6 brix higher than last week), confirming that the minimum ripening stage has been achieved.

Central Italy
The parameters measured in this growing area gave values of sugar content around 5.6 brix degrees (0.6 brix higher than last week), in line with the period. This means that harvest could start from week 45 onwards (starting from 3rd November).
