Stockton Group presented Timorex Gold® in Guatemala

Stockton Group presented its flagship product Timorex Gold® – a natural broad spectrum fungicide, at “VII International Horticultural Congress-FASAGUA” which took place in the City of Guatemala, March 5-7, 2014. This event was led by Jose Adan Cueva, CA Regional Manager in Stockton, with the participation of Stockton distributors in Guatemala.

FASAGUA is one of the most important agriculture events in Central America and it was attended by the President of Guatemala, the Minister of Agriculture, and the Vice Minister of Agriculture and Health Regulations, together with more than 2500 agriculture professionals.

FASUAGA attendees learned about the benefits of Timorex Gold® against various foliar diseases in fruits and vegetables. They also had the opportunity to understand how the product helps them meet the most stringent food safety and quality requirement.

Guatemala is the most populous of the Central American countries. According to Index Mundi, the agricultural sector accounted in 2013 for 13% of the GDP and 38% of the labour force. Key agricultural exports include coffee, sugar, bananas, and vegetables.
