Canada: Zing! greenhouse strawberries and peppers now ready to ship

In response to the freezing cold and extremely long winter, Orangeline Farms is ushering in the taste of spring with its plump, flavourful strawberries, which are ready to ship. The sweet Zing! brand strawberries are already being delivered to major retail outlets in North America.

"This is a North American first," says Jordan Kniaziew, President of Orangeline Farms Sales Limited. "Typically, only imported product is available at this time of year. We believe we’re first out with the fresh local berries that consumers can typically only get in the summer."

Orangeline's greenhouse environment provides ideal control over all aspects of the strawberry's development, resulting exceptionally sweet berries for consumers, according to a press release.

In addition, tasty Zing! brand bell peppers, grown fresh in the greenhouse, are also ready to ship. "We’re extremely pleased with this year's early crop," says Kniaziew. "Everything looks and tastes fantastic." -
