"A month ago we updated the 5 kilo Blind Box with new graphics and recycled material, trying to give some sort of continuity to the Protetta dalla luce range (Protected by the light), which now includes small 2/2.5 kg packets, 4/5 kg bag, 10 kg sacks and 12.5 kg cardboard boxes. All these were created in order to guarantee high quality levels whilst avoiding the produce being ruined by light."
As regards R&D, the company has been cooperating with a Dutch seed company for two years, and this year it has started selling the Actrice variety exclusively. "It is a yellow flesh variety with an early and semi-early cycle and good dry matter content. We are also experimenting on other varieties."
"Last but not least, our golden, red and white onions are doing well. We check them thoroughly in cooperation with a selected group of producers," concludes Davide Marmocchi.
