Air curtain and freeze house together through one door, this is what happens when director Kris van de Rijt of Air in Motion gets involved. This company has developed solutions for the prevention of the loss of cold in cool cells and conditioned product areas for years. Looking at the demand from the market Air in Motion have specialized during the last few years in the area of separating the differences in temperature and humidity in passages to freeze areas.
Different from a standard air curtain Air in Motion developed a special concept for these 'invisible freeze doors'. With this concept not only does hot air not enter the freeze building, but also the humidity is effectively removed before this can enter the vulnerable cold climate. Standard air curtains are not strong enough to resist the differences in pressure and in steam pressure between the freeze building and the adjoining climate. Moisture almost has free entrance and causes ice forming.
The concept developed by Van de Rijt works with a high pressure air curtain (air door), with which moisture is, so to speak, blocked. This unique concept works so effectively that the door can remain open for hours without problems, without forming fog or ice. The removal and the often defrosting of vaporizers is in the past as far as Van de Rijt is concerned. His solution has been realized in various countries.
The advantages at a glance:
* A fog and ice free passage
* Up to 60% saving on energy
* Quicker and safer logistic, as unhindered entrance and exit of the
freeze house is obtained
* No damage to expensive freeze doors
Industrial aircurtain
In addition to the unique high pressure air curtain (air door) for passage to the freezer, Air in Motion realizes solutions for the separation of temperature, moisture, draught, dust and adours for just about every industry.
