As Massimo Ceradini told FreshPlaza, "I would say that at the moment the season is good, but I believe it could also be that not everyone has started yet. Things seem to be looking good, especially since quantities should be lower than expected. We will have to manage the volumes during the season and avoid collapsing under the pressure of certain prices."
During the 2012/13 season, the group sold 9,500 tonnes of kiwi. "We hope we can do better this year because we have more suppliers. Yields were 10-15% lower, but we should be able to have 15% more produce anyway because we now have more partners."

Ceradini Group exports kiwis under the KingKiwi (except for France and Asia) and KingFruit brands. The latter is being exported also to South Korea. Massimo adds that "demand comes from all over the world, and in particular from Asia. In addition to South Korea, our main market in Asia is China, to which we send more and more produce each year."
The Russian market, on the other hand, is getting less interesting. "We have not exported kiwis to Russia for a couple of years now. The main suppliers for that market are now Greece and Iran."
