Germany: Good company results for Tonkens Agrar AG
The company development in fiscal year 2012/13 of the German agrarian company 'Tonkens Agrar AG' can be called very positive, current figures confirm. With a 26% increase in turnover they also managed to lower the company costs at the same time, reports the German website finanznachrichten.de. In fiscal year 2012/13 a result improvement of around 3 million Euro has been confirmed. The profit per share has increased from minus 1.00 Euro to plus 0.78 Euro.
The total turnover in fiscal year 2012/13 is at 16.87 million Euro according to current figures. One of the two largest areas of work was agriculture, as usual, with a turnover of 6.24 million Euro and a share of 37% in the total group turnover. The company grew grain, potatoes, corn, sugar beets, rape seed, onion and fodder plants. In the storage, breeding and sales a turnover of 6.35 million Euro was made, a share of 38% of the total group turnover. The milk production caused a turnover of 2.97 million Euro (18% of the group turnover) and sustainable energy made a turnover of 1.31 million Euro (8% of the total group turnover).
