"Ciao Chips" from Eurochef are here"

Italy: From fresh potatoes to steamy crisps in only 2 minutes

It took an Italian expert in restaurant equipment such as Eurochef srl to launch on the market an innovation that will revolutionise potato consumption.

On the outside it looks like an Ape with lively colours and the "Ciao Chips" caption, but it is actually a combination of a patented system to cut fresh potatoes and a high-tech fryer that can work also in closed spaces. The result - fragrant and tasty crisps that are ready in an instant!

Paola Gombi from Eurochef told FreshPlaza that "the prototype of the initial idea was developed by the owner of Eurochef Gabriele Manara, and was then improved to make it practical and ergonomic. Fresh potatoes are washed and cut with their skin on thanks to a patented cutting system, and are there fried, so consumers can appreciate a product that has just been made."

Thanks to a steam recuperation system, "Ciao Chips" can also work in closed spaces and it's really flexible. "Our ideal partner for the supply of raw material is producer Eugenio Percossi, who supplied us with exceptional potatoes for our demonstrations all over Italy."

Eurochef has already sold some "Ciao Chips" in Italy (the Autogrill chain was among those who purchased it), Germany, South Korea and Russia, "and we are negotiating with distributors from all over the world, even Australia!"

The "Ciao Chips" solution could represent a new form of commercial activity for many of those who are looking for a job, as the initial investment is affordable and the red tape required is quite slim.

People will definitely be attracted to it, and therefore the equipment can be used in many ways, also in front of shops and malls.
