On September 30, nut exports amounted to a total of 35,478 tons (in-shell), representing an increase of 21% over the same period last year.
16,156 tons of shelled walnuts and 9,661 tons of unshelled nuts were exported abroad.
Europe buys 69% of Chilean shipments of nuts, which represents a 50% increase this season.
