Caribbean Liquid Sugar R.J.H .(CLS), makers of non-GMO verified and Organic Cane Syrups and Stevia/Cane Syrup blends, has achieved another milestone toward expanding its organic operations with the recent inauguration of a sister company, Rostevia S.R.L., in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
With Rostevia S.R.L., CLS will be expanding its business by offering in a first phase Organic, Non-GMO, and sustainably produced Stevia Leaf Extracts, and Organic Bananas. With this move, CLS targets the top strongest growth categories in the food industry: all natural alternative sweeteners, and organic, Non-GMO produce.
CLS has aligned with Organic Brand Management (OBM) of Santa Cruz, California to manage the year-round supply line coming out of the Caribbean, from the Northern tip of the Dominican Republic. “Having a well established, reputable grower/packer of bananas is the key to the success of this program”, commented Mr. Terjada. “European retailers and distributors are receiving 100+ containers per week, so the harvest team as well as the plantation is ready for expansion”, he added.
