A major apple packer in Kent is another client benefiting from the flexibility and cost effective machinery supplied by LC Machinery UK. Throughout LC Machinery's current supplied solutions, their clients are reporting notable improvements in production processes following the installation of LC Machinery’s flow-wrapping technology.
LC Machinery’s, Head of Operations said: “We are very pleased to have provided another innovative solution for this client. Over the past 4 years we have worked hard to evaluate the market and generate new ideas. This is but one of a number of exciting development that LC Machinery have launched”.
The client recently purchased the LC Machinery’s Activa 312-Trayless flow-wrap machine. The flexibility and performance of the system offered them a machine which covered an ever changing market for all pack formats easing further investment costs and pressures from their customer demands and future changes.
LC Machinery’s systems can be catered and are suitable for large, medium and smaller fruit growers; the system can be used for the tray-less packing across a range of fresh produce, which will allow some producers to have the option of often using just one system for all their produce production as the system is designed to run with and without a tray in the following formats: baguette (inline) and dual lane formats. The current solution has minimal changes from 1x4 pieces to 2x2, 2x3 & 2x4 pieces. Understanding non productive time is costly, the mark 2 system will be released with ‘no-changes' between pack formats, increasing production efficiency.
