Spain: Iberflora and Vegetal World come to a close

At 6pm last Friday, the latest editions of Iberflora and Vegetal World Congress & Exhibition came to a close with all goals accomplished. This was stated by both the president of the International Fair for Plants and Flowers, Technology and Gardening (Iberflora), Óscar Calabuig, and Miguel Bixquert, director of Vegetal World.

Both agreed on emphasising how the organisation of these events, between 2 and 4 October, has managed to boost optimism, as well as bringing satisfaction to their respective clients.

Calabuig defined Iberflora's visitors this year mainly in terms of their professionalism and quality, insisting on the importance of supply as a differentiating factor. "If anything should be highlighted it is the variety of Mediterranean plants that visitors have come across this year, especially considering the current context, marked by instability."

Miguel Bixquet also wished to stress the quality of the visitors that attended Vegetal World, a fair specialised in technology for Mediterranean agriculture. "A professional and very technical visitor, who we believe has been able to appreciate the efforts we have made to maximise the value of their time at the fair," affirms Bixquert.

Another common aspect to both events has been the presence of international visitors, which according to Iberflora's president, has been truly noteworthy. "Walking around the fair, a great variety of languages could be heard, such as French, German or Danish; an international atmosphere which should facilitate the signing of new export contracts."
