On Wednesday 2 October, the founder of B.P. de Lange, Bart de Lange, passed away at an age of 83. Bart looked at the world as if it was his backyard. He was a pioneer in the fresh produce sector. Importing apples from France, endive from Italy, green beans from Egypt, garlic from China. As a globetrotter nothing was too crazy for him.
Exporting potatoes and onions, first in Europe and later on to the rest of the world. He worked with many people in the fresh produce industry around the world. He made an impact on everybody he ever met.
We shall miss him.
Through this way, we want to thank everybody, who worked with him. On Monday 7 October from 19:00 to 20:30 at Robonsbosweg 10 in Alkmaar (NL) there is the opportunity to pay your respect to Bart. If you would like to send a message, you can do this to: info@delange.nl
