The first stage of the 2013 season developed with a rapidly changing climate, this year recorded in Northwestern Argentina a mild Winter start followed by a very dry autumn; high temperatures and low rainfall. The lemon season started after a long and very hot Summer. There were also severe frosts During the last week of July which led to drastic climatic factors which meant that All Lemon needed to audit 50% of the daily quality control in 26 fruit packing lines for all their 16 major companies. All Lemon checked more than 8,000 samples of lemon weekly.
