Germany: Broccoli harvest small

In large parts of Germany the broccoli harvest is very limited, as announced by the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) on its website. Because of the smaller supply prices develop well for the growers. This also influences the final selling prices, which again increased by 20 cents/kg in week 36 to an average of 2.28 Euro/kg.
Sales stagnate at a low level because of these circumstances.

It is, however, expected that from week 39 the harvested volume will increase in all German cultivation regions.
