Spain: First Spanish-Moroccan conference announced

Recently authorities announced the first Spanish-Moroccan conference on fresh produce, to be held in Madrid. The aim is to create a stable forum for debating international trade and coordination between the two countries. Last week a committee existing of members of both countries assembled for a preliminary meeting, chaired by the Spanish Minister, Miguel Arias Cañete and his Moroccan counterpart.

The representation of FEPEX during this meeting includes:
· The Chairman of FEPEX and Bonnysa Agroalimentaria (Alicante), Jorge Brotons,
· The Chairman of the Committee Tomate FEPEX and Grupo hortofrutícola Paloma (Murcia), Jose Hernandez,
· The Chairman of Freshuelva (FEPEX) and the Vice-President of the Cooperativa de Palos FRESON (Huelva), Alberto Garrocho,
· The Chairman of COEXPHAL (FEPEX) and Cooperativa Murgiverde (Almería), Manuel Galdeano,
· The Director of FEPEX, José María Pozancos.
