Inauguration of new service centre and office of Euro Pool System Benelux



Last Friday the official inauguration of the new office and service centre in St. Katelijne Waver in Belgium took place in the presence of the Prime Minister Kris Peeters. The total surface area of the complex is around 75,000 m2. The complex has space for offices and a completely renewed service centre. This centre is fitted with a modern washing installation for packaging with a capacity of 16,000 packagings per hour and an annual capacity of 65 - 70 million boxes on a yearly basis.

CHP cogeneration is used to heat the water to 60° - leftover heat is turned into electrical power. The room has 3 ha of solar panels. 80% recuperation of the water usage is taken into account using water filtration. The hall is owned by Mechelse Veilingen. They also function as service provider for Euro Pool System Benelux. The washing service was invested in by Euro Pool System - the investment is 11.5 million Euro. 75 people work at the depot, 40 people work in the Benelux office.
