Low Temperatures and Rain Lead to a Reduced Harvest

China: Kiwi production down

"The end of August until the end of October is generally the ideal period to pick kiwis. However, the flowering of kiwi trees was affected by a colder, wetter May and June, resulting in a reduction of the fruit borne by some orchards. Various kiwi producing regions have seen reduced harvests and prices have risen as a result." Ms.Qin Mei, PengShengDa Fruits
