2016 Asian Fruit Exhibition opened



From November 14 until November 16, the China Fruit Marketing Association and Shanghai Yixian Information Science and Technology co-host the 9th iFresh Asian Fruit and Vegetable International Fair at the Shanghai Xinguo International Exhibition Centre. This year's fair focuses on innovation as its theme with the purpose of promoting the development trends of standardisation, marketing and branding that is happening in the Chinese fruit sector.



The iFresh Asian Fruit Fair attracted more than 20 Chinese and foreign production groups. Luochuan apples, Washington apples, Kenya mangoes and other numerous landmark products are gathered at the scene of the iFresh Fair. Even the assistant of the Australian premier and vice-minister of agriculture, Mr. Luke Hartsuyker, is present. Also an important delegation from Beijing will participate. 
 


The Chinese fruit industry is gradually developing towards branding. Meilong patterned melons, Hainan Wangpin honey melons, Qifeng kiwis, Jiawo blueberries, etc. are all starring at the fair. While adorning the fair, they also show the charm of Chinese branded fruits. Moreover, from cultivation and harvest to preservation and transport, the well-being of the fruits face a huge challenges at every step. At this year's fair, some companies, such as MAF Roda and the Dutch Aweta, have also brought their advanced processing technology. This offers a strong support for the marketing development of the Chinese fruit industry. 



During the Asian Fruit Fair, the China Fruit Marketing Summit is also held. Important guests are invited, such as the Australian vice-premier, a representative of the Chilean Fruit Association, the Chairman of Baiguoyuan etc. During this fourth edition of the reversed harvest discussion platform, the concept is high accuracy and high efficiency. It is devoted to advance the trade connection between supply and demand. There are also numerous conferences on the excellent products of Chinese production regions and there is the second edition of the international apple PK competition. At the iFresh Asian Fruit Fair, fruit experts from all over the world are gathered to promote the rapid development of the Chinese fruit industry.
