Wonderful Citrus unveils 'Giant box of Halos' building

To celebrate the 4th anniversary of Wonderful Halos and usher in the start of a record-breaking mandarin season, Wonderful Citrus unveiled a new building at its Delano plant that resembles a giant box of Halos. The 80-foot high, 11,000 square-foot structure is located on the Wonderful Halos Delano campus. Local dignitaries joined Wonderful Citrus executives to dedicate the building at a ribbon cutting ceremony. David Krause, president, Wonderful Citrus and State Senator Andy Vidak, kicked-off the event and Senator Vidak even proclaimed today a “Day of Pure Goodness.”

The event also recognizes a period of tremendous growth for the brand:
Wonderful Halos is the No.1 mandarin brand in the U.S. and represented 9% of overall produce growth this last season.
Wonderful Halos has been the No. 1 mandarin brand every year since launching in 2013 and it is more than 70% bigger than the next largest mandarin brand.
Halos is making a record $30 million investment in its new “Good Choice, Kid” ad campaign with commercials that debuted earlier this week. The spots celebrate kids that make good choices like healthy snacking with Wonderful Halos.
