China: The largest high end cold chain distribution center breaks ground
On 29 December 2017, after an investment of 8 billion yuan, the building of the Nanjing Hainan Airlines Comprehensive Distribution Park and the Xie Xin New Energy Battery Storage System was started in the Jiangning Development Zone. Hainan Airlines Modern Logistics Group signed a strategic partnership for this project with the Jiangning Development Zone, Lukou Airport, and Nanjing Agricultural Product Distribution Center Co., Ltd.
The building of this project will further improve the city's functionality, and will make for an economic transformation. The Hainan Airlines Comprehensive Distribution Park received an investment of 3 billion yuan, and will take up around 220,000 square meters. On 29 December 2017, the project will start with the building of a refrigerated storage, which will satisfy the demand through high end cold chain distribution, when the supply on the market is insufficient.
