A batch of sweet potatoes from Huizhou with a weight of 18.4 tons and a value of 11,000 GBP has been transported to the UK. It was the first time that Guangdong sweet potatoes have been transported to a European country. On 26 October, the Huizhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau revealed that this batch of sweet potatoes, consisting of 2,880 cases, had already successfully passed the inspection. A few days later, the sweet potatoes were already available on the UK market.
