95% of Myanmar's fruit export goes to China

"The New Light of Myanmar" reported on September 5 that the Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producer and Exporter Association, has stated that, as of this year, China has become their main export market. 95% of Myanmar fruit export went to China: more than 200,000 tons of fruit. Watermelons are first, at 139,400 tons, worth 12 million US dollars, with mangoes and melons following them, at 30,523 tons and 21,749 tons. China is the biggest agricultural trading partner for Myanmar now. In the first three months of this fiscal year, Myanmar earned 2.82 billion US dollars, of which 1.2 billion US dollars were earned in export and 1.6 billion US dollars earned in import.
