Received 20M USD investment of Amazon

Suspected bankruptcy Chinese online retailer Yummy 77

Last week, a document emerged that Chinese online retailer Yummy 77 has filed for bankruptcy. According to the documentation, Yummy 77 suffered from operation problems and could no longer finance its operations.

Yummy 77 was established in May 2013. The company trades in fresh products. Its headquarters are located in Shanghai. In May 2014, the company attracted an investment of 20 million USD of Amazon. At that time, Amazon commented on the investment as: "2014 marks the 10th anniversary of Amazon's entry into the Chinese market. Amazon is determined to long-term commit to this market."



Currently, Yummy 77 has not yet officially declared bankruptcy.
