Guangxi local grapefruit festival

The annual grapefruit festival was held on November 7th in the small town Danzhou (Guangxi, Sanjiang Dong autonomous county). Several activities like grapefruit fishing, a grapefruit circle and a bonfire were organized. The festival attracted lots of tourists to the town.

For the last few years, this town has really invested in grapefruit cultivation. They persist in using science and technology, ecological protection, organization of the festival to improve grapefruit sales and expansion of the supply chain. The town developed a business model where several aspects like grapefruit cultivation, catering and tourism integrate in one model. This creates better economic and social benefits.
