Turkey: Good start for citrus exports

A relevant increase was registered in citrus exports in September. The increase is of 29% in quantity and of 47% in value.

The most exported product is lemon with about 56,000 tonnes which correspond to 85% of total citrus exported. The Russian federation remains the first importer with 22,000 tonnes and a 110% growth in volume and 119% in value compared to September 2013.

The major increase was noted for citrus exports to Saudi Arabia, with a 127% increase in volumes.
