In his presentation, Andronic showed how modern AI technologies can be used specifically in the fruit industry with a clearly structured approach: Predict, Simulate, Control. The aim is to achieve holistic optimization along the entire value chain – from cultivation and harvesting to logistics and quality assurance – through data-driven forecasts, realistic simulations, and automated control.
The DFHV annual conference provided a platform for experts from industry and research to exchange ideas on the latest developments and applications of AI in the fruit industry.
