A milestone in India-China agricultural collaboration was achieved with the successful launch of Indian Mangoes in China at the AEON Huizhou Shopping Center store on Donghu West Road, Huicheng District. The event, held from 16:00 to 17:00, was a vibrant celebration of friendship, flavor, and fruitful trade between the two nations, offering Chinese consumers a taste of one the mangos from India.
Organized in collaboration with AEON Retail, Joy Wing Mau, Superplum, and supported by the Consulate General of India in Guangzhou, the event showcased the arrival of premium Indian mangoes like Alphonso, Kesar, Sindhura and Banganapalli. Attendees enjoyed mango samplings, cultural exchange activities, and speeches by officials from India and China, highlighting the shared growth and mutual appreciation this collaboration fosters. The event attracted a wide range of audiences, including local consumers, trade representatives, and media, all eager to witness this landmark moment.
Joy Wing Mau played a pivotal role in bringing these mangoes to the Chinese market, leveraging its extensive distribution network. AEON Retail, a key partner, provided the platform at its Huizhou store, ensuring the mangoes reached consumers swiftly through its established retail channels.
This event marks the beginning of a new chapter in agricultural trade, as Indian mangoes under the trusted Superplum brand are now available at AEON retail, which plans to expand their distribution across China.
