Karmen scale: Not only grapes but also lemons and stone fruits

"For the 2025 fruit campaign year, the Karmen scale will remain unchanged. We have not made any changes to the previous model because we believe we have achieved the pinnacle of product excellence in terms of functionality, selling price, and components. We anticipate a significant sales growth in the upcoming months, primarily driven by the growing number of positive customer reviews, which are generating interest and curiosity. In 2024, we were granted a patent as a utility model."

Giuseppe Rescina (pictured above), technical manager and designer of Rescina Service, an Italian company based in Apulia that distributes this tool in many Italian regions and European countries, is promoting the Karmen scale for the upcoming harvest seasons.

"We have received orders from new areas, including the provinces of Agrigento, Cosenza, and Latina. Fruit growers have discovered the versatility of our scales, finding applications not only for packing grapes but also for apricots, lemons, and other products. Many manufacturers use our scales not only in the field, but also in processing centers and warehouses, because they find the depth-adjustable tilt of the container, which allows them to adjust it to the right angle, even to the most comfortable position for the operator."

It is a scale designed to meet the specific needs of producers and exporters, offering a practical and reliable solution and device for weighing fruit directly in the field.

"The main strengths of the Karmen scale are its lightness and handiness, its robustness and accuracy. "It is an easy-to-transport and easy-to-use device. Weighing only 3 kg, it is the lightest scale on the market. Powered by 4 AA or rechargeable batteries, it guarantees a long autonomy of up to 120 hours of work. It is also versatile because it is compatible with any type of tripod or stand. It easily adapts to the harvesting needs of contractors. It also guarantees operational efficiency, allowing the product to be packaged directly at the collection points, avoiding double handling and reducing packaging costs."
