Final pile driven for new Harvest House building

On Thursday, 16 January 2025, Harvest House celebrated an important milestone at Rainbow Kleinpak. During a festive gathering attended by employees, growers, and local partners, the final foundation pile for the new building was symbolically driven into the ground.

The new facility will include a modern packing hall and new office space. With this expansion, Harvest House is making a significant step toward the future. "This development gives us the space to continue growing and fully focus on innovation," explains Silvia Janssen-Voorbij, director of cooperative affairs and R&D.

"At Harvest House, everything revolves around growth and innovation. This new building allows us to enhance our sustainable packaging solutions and ensures that we can deliver healthy, nutritious fruit and vegetables to consumers most efficiently and innovatively. It represents a major step toward our goal of climate-neutral cultivation by 2040. Together with our partners, we are building a food chain that is both relevant and future-proof. With this new facility, we look to the future with confidence—a future in which we continue to collaborate on healthy, sustainable solutions for everyone in the chain."
