Bassi Seminatrici, a specialist in precision linear sowing, boasts seven decades of experience and confirms itself as an export-oriented company.
"The company was founded in the 1950s by my father Gino and specializes in the manufacture of sowing machines. In the 1980s, we strengthened our line of precision linear sowing machines, refining our know how to produce lasting machines that are versatile and 'custom-made' for our clients all over the world," reports owner Gianluca Bassi.
The founder's granddaughters, Carlotta and Margherita, also recently joined the company and will project the company into the future yet maintaining its strong roots in the past.
"The foreign areas that have grown the most in recent years have been California, Mexico, Israel, UK, Russia and Europe. South American and African countries are currently emerging as well. The manual sowing machine, SP 2002, SM 2000 T and Hybrid have been the most popular lately. We recently introduced the Hybrid model, which boasts the best techniques and technological innovations."
"After a couple of years during which it was very hard to source materials, things are getting back to normal, however all Italian and international companies were badly hit."
