In Xiajin Town, in Dezhou City, Shandong Province in Eastern China, there is an important historical agriculture tradition of the production and processing of mulberry fruit. The region is home to a large number of historic mulberry tree forests, that are now at the center of a new tourist and travel revival.

As the hometown of fresh fruit, Xiajin is rich in ecological resources, history, and culture. In ancient times, the Yellow River traveled from south to north, flowing through Xiajin, forming a huge sand and river landscape. This region is now the Yellow River Ancient Road Mulberry Corridor.
At present, there are more than 400 hectares of ancient mulberry forests, with an annual output of 14,000 tons of mulberries. This includes a staggering 20,000 ancient mulberry trees that are over a century old. It is the oldest and largest ancient mulberry group discovered in the world so far.
Xiajin Manguo is a local agricultural brand from the region. Recent brand successes include the "Agricultural Products Advantageous Area with Chinese Characteristics" award and the "National Geographical Iconic Trademark" award. XiaJin Manguo has also officially protected its logo and production varieties.

In the process of creating its brand identity and value, Xiajin mulberry has developed its fruit's sweet and sour taste. The company sells mulberry leaf products, mulberry fruits, mulberry branches, mulberry roots, mulberry bark, and mulberry seed oil.
