Asia accounted for 16.7% of total Peruvian table grape exports in 2022

In 2022, Peruvian grape exports reached US$1,362,740,000 for 554,730 tons, showing an increase of +9% in value and +8.1% in volume compared to US$1,249,800,000 for 513,060 tons in 2021.

This was reported by the Association of Agricultural Producers Guilds of Peru (AGAP), which indicated that the main destination markets where table grapes were sent from Peru in 2022 are the United States of America with US$ 639,490,000, the Netherlands with US$ 152,130, 000, Hong Kong US$ 86,030,000, China with US$68,360,000.

The United States and the Netherlands were the two main markets for Peruvian grapes; while Hong Kong and China regained these prominent positions when in 2021 the ranking was as follows: United States, Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, China, Canada and Hong Kong.
