Internet spat about two-packs of peppers

Tesco shoppers are not 'getting less food'

Tesco has calmed down customers who feared they were "getting less" food amid complaints over their multipack of peppers changing from a three-pack to a two-pack at the same price. A woman who visited her local Tesco store shared a video on TikTok at the beginning of the month and questioned the change, saying: "Tesco? Where has the third one gone?"

However, a Tesco spokesperson has explained the packet still contains the same amount of food, with two larger peppers coming in at the same 500g as three smaller ones did previously.

When approached for comment on the online spat, the spokesperson said the two packs contain much larger peppers, so customers are not getting less.
