"This year, we can say we are pleased with the tomato campaign despite the difficulties that the production sector has had to face because of the weather," reports Salvatore Albani, president of the PO that bears his surname and operating in Vittoria (RG), Sicily.

"Unfortunately, there have been a few hiccups in the midi plum segment, probably due to the heat in November/December 2022. Date tomatoes did better. The smooth round and cherry tomato campaigns were excellent instead, with high quotations that at times exceeded €3 at production."
"Our other products are doing well, particularly yellow and red bell peppers, as well as 'hormone free' round eggplants. Just like in many other companies from our area specializing in greenhouse cultivation, our productions continue throughout the year almost without interruption, except for eggplants, which are available between November and May. Thanks to our partners, we can, in fact, guarantee constant supplies, always ensuring good quality. We are much appreciated by both the general markets and foreign and domestic big retail chains. We are particularly recognizable thanks to our "Gli Assoluti" brand for our top products. Our tomatoes are Nickel Free certified."

"We are always aware of the continuous changes in consumption trends and aim to meet the most demanding requests of our clients. We also spend a lot of energy attending the main sector fairs. This year, in particular, we will attend Macfrut in Rimini at stand no. 003, hall D4, where we will welcome buyers and operators from the international fresh produce chain."
