Germany: Metro build logistic centre for fruit and vegetables

The German trading concern Metro will in the industrial area 'Am Römig' in Frankenthal-Eppstein (federal state Rhineland-Palts) build a new logistic centre for fruit and vegetables, as announced on the German website 'morgenweb.de'. From here in future Metro and Real supermarkets in South and South West Germany will be supplied. It is the intention that building on the 170,000 m2 piece of land will be completed in the middle of 2013. According to information supplied by the town about 130 new jobs will be created in Frankenthal.
